Why salt makes pineapple sweeter The pineapple which is very popular for it’s taste. I think most of the people like that. It’s a sweet fruit. You can also make it sweeter than the previous. Now you think how it can possible? It can possible by mixing something. Most of you think that is sugar but it’s not, besides it’s harmful for health. By mixing salt you can make it sweeter. Now many of you think that how funny you are! I don’t mind if you tell me mad.But it’s true.you can do it practically.For your sureness here i write the scientific reason of it……
Salt which is called sodium chloride (NaCl). When it dissolves into pineapples, quickly It will break apart into sodium (Na+) & Chloride (Cl-) ions. After that the sodium ions will react with the malic & citric acids that present into the pineapple to form neutral sodium salt. All you know that normally acids have tart & sour taste but when they are converted into neutral compounds they lose that sourness & so the pineapples taste sweeter…..
